Easily read in a day but useful for a lifetime, Your Unfinished Business: Find God in Your Circumstances - Serve Others in Theirs is for those who don't want to settle only for avoiding what's unpleasant or seeking what makes us happy. Read about the spiritual foundation of servanthood.

How can we develop the servant's resilient heart that turns our circumstances into a calling to invest ourselves in the well-being of others? Leroy Hurt discovered the secret in his mother’s experiences. Widowed in the Philippines during World War Two when enemy occupation forces executed her first husband, she later left a successful dental practice to raise a child with Down Syndrome and then cared for her second husband through ten years of debilitating and terminal illness. She had unfinished business because a servant’s work is never done.

You can learn the same principles and practices that will make you an effective steward of your circumstances, impacting other people’s lives through your  selfless service as well as pointing them to the God who calls everyone to Himself. You’ll learn how becoming God’s friend presents you with unfinished business, how making God's priorities your own let's you see from His perspective, and how becoming a servant makes you God’s blessing to others.

Benefits

Readers won’t fear change because they’ll understand how to stay anchored to what doesn’t change.

When providing a keynote, workshop, or retreat to organizations, I donate a copy of the book to the organization’s library.

Mnemonics help readers internalize the material quickly so they can apply it immediately in their lives.

A free discussion guide from the web site equips readers for leading discussion groups. The workshop will train participants on using the discussion guide.

When I speak at events organized to raise support for specific ministries, I donate the royalties of books sold at those events to those ministries.

I also contribute a series of three excerpts from the book for organization newsletters.
