Serve to lead

It’s been said, “Leaders do things right; managers do the right thing.” Organizations need both. Additionally, the Internet and proliferation of many types of media means organizations can expect greater scrutiny. Organizations therefore have to demonstrate a strong understanding and application of stewardship principles. Achieve that level of organizational maturity and more by turning your organization into a servant organization.

Point the way
All organizations have a purpose, a mission, and a vision. At least they should. Develop clear statements of purpose, mission, and vision around which your organization’s members can rally. These statements are the foundation of organizations’ values, policies, and governance structures. Learn also how to synchronize organizational goals, functions, and processes to become a servant organization.

Make your point
Organizations have to get the word out. This session provides ideas on how to develop a communications strategy and how to implement it. The focus is on a methodological approach to ownership-building, moving stakeholders from awareness of what your organization does to ownership of its role as a servant organization.
